Energy Efficiency and Community Choice Energy: Opportunities for Fresno

Please join us for a free informational webinar, co-hosted by Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission (Fresno EOC) and The Climate Center, about local weatherization and energy efficiency efforts and Community Choice Energy, the not-for-profit local electricity service option for over 11 million Californians. Fresno is in the process of evaluating this program for its residents and businesses.

Presenters from these organizations will discuss how Community Choice might benefit Fresno, building upon current projects that are focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. David Wear and Elizabeth Jonasson of FresnoEOC will present their Energy Services program which provides low-income families in Fresno with no cost installation of energy conservation measures and energy education to reduce energy costs while improving energy efficiency and ensuring health and safety. 

J.R. Killigrew, Director of Communications and Energy Programs at Monterey Bay Community Power, an operational Community Choice agency, to share what they have done recently in their community to respond to the COVID-19 crisis.
